Director of Finance and Information

Stacey joined as the Director of Finance and Information for the Welsh Health Specialist Services and Emergency Ambulance Services Committees in October 2023. The national committees act on behalf of the NHS Wales Local Health Boards, to commission equitable access to safe, effective and sustainable services for the people of Wales. Stacey joined the Committees from the NHS Executive Financial Planning and Delivery Directorate a national function originally established in January 2018 to lead the development of best practice financial management, strategic financial intelligence, Value Based Healthcare, and financial improvement across NHS Wales.

Stacey started her career in a small private practise and has since held a number of roles within the economic industry, Welsh Government and health sector with over 20 years’ experience in accounting and finance roles. Stacey is a Qualified Accountant and proud to have successfully completed her qualifications as an apprentice and advocate’s for workplace learning. Stacey enjoys working in national organisations and has been involved in delivering financial strategy, bringing together evidenced based data analytics, data science and finance.

Stacey lives on a farm in the South Wales Valleys with her husband and two daughters.
